ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Zordan Logistics was born in 1986, as a storage and distribution service provider for chemical products for the agricultural sector. The normative evolution of the dangerous goods sector, and the increase in quantities, led the company to undertake the process to obtain the certifications required for handling dangerous goods, or ADR.
In 2012 the bar-code management system for the storage area was implemented, allowing a precise control over supplies and preferred methods of the clients (LIFO-FIFO-FEFO). The goods are managed through the emission of labels, where the information required by the clients are stated. Usually, the information contained in the bar-code are:
- progressive number UDC (Unità di Carico: Load Unity)
- client-good code
- description of the article and the client
- client’s name
- digital registration document
- batch
- eventual required variations
Recently, a Restricted Area was implemented to the service, where a client can access to verify the stock, de documents, and the movements.
